Car history: |
Marino Performance Motors is thrilled to announce the arrival of this fully restored numbers matching 1969 Corvette 427/390HP with Factory Air and 4-Speed Manual finished in Can-Am White and wrapped in Red leather with only 118 pampered miles since restoration! Production date was April 9th, 1969 with Engine block stamp T0325MH and Transmission number P9C22A. No expense has been spared during this complete nut and bolt restoration! This process included a complete rebuild of the engine, suspension, interior, and powder coating the frame. While the mid-year Corvettes, those built from 1963 through 1967, get all the ink and command the big prices, the 1968 through 1972 models and beyond are finally getting the respect they've deserved for so long. These cars are still mostly affordable and offer great performance and knockout styling! The 1968 through 1972 models are actually better-driving cars, which improved each year, and they handle better at higher speeds than their predecessors, mainly due to aerodynamics. The 1969 and later seats are much more comfortable than the mid-year seats. The Corvettes of this era were terrific handlers and used basic coil springs, ball joints, and tie rod ends out front. The Corvette interiors from 1968 through 1972 are fairly comfortable, and well appointed. The engineers designed a stunning dash with large tachometer and speedometer directly in front of the driver. Housed in the center console were five standard gauges, including a clock, oil pressure, battery, fuel and coolant temperature! Equipment: L36 427/390 HP Engine, M20 Muncie 4-Speed Manual Transmission, A31 Power Windows, A82 Headrests, C60 Factory Air Conditioning , J50 Power Brakes, N14 Side Mount Exhaust Systems, U79 AM-FM Stereo Radio, UA6 Alarm System, N37 Tilt-Telescopic Steering Column, N40 Power Steering, TJ2 Front Fender Louver Trim, A01 Soft Ray Tinted Glass, K66 Transistorized Ignition. BiN $69,000. September 2016. |
